We are responsible for the management and strategic oversight of a number of service contracts on behalf of REC Parties, including the REC Code Manager service.
During last month’s edition of ‘Inside RECCo’ we explained that we were was running hyper-care arrangements with the Code Manager following the go-live of the new service, to quickly respond to any urgent issues. We are pleased to confirm that the hyper-care sessions are to conclude at the end of October following all high priority defects now being closed.
We also updated you that we had established a Post Implementation Project to manage the delivery of a series of functional enhancements across the Code Manager service and to resolve remaining defects to improve the user experience.
The first scheduled release is planned within the next couple of weeks and will include enhancements to the Portal, including a number of improvements to the Committee management area. Releases will continue up until the end of March. The Code Manager will be updating REC Parties directly on the plans and content of releases and will be ensuring required training and updates to User Guides are rolled out in parallel to parties.
We have also been working with the Code Manager to ensure all the valuable feedback received through our first ‘pulse’ stakeholder satisfaction survey is being built into Post Implementation Project.
We also asked that the Operational Account Managers speak to respondents to ensure any raised issues had been resolved and that suggestions for further improvements had been fully understood. Through your feedback, the Code Manager is:
RECCo will be issuing the next ‘pulse’ stakeholder satisfaction survey towards the end of the year. Feedback is of key importance to us to make sure that our stakeholders are seeing improvements to the Code Manager service, the service is meeting your expectations and needs and to ensure future enhancements are focusing on the most important areas for parties.
